Where It All Began
My love for cooking started in the heart of Moody, Texas, where my father, Joe L. Henderson, turned backyard BBQ into an art form. He built his own pits from old oil drums, and it wasn’t unusual to open the freezer and be greeted by a pig’s head staring back at you. That was just part of life. But the flavors he created—rich, smoky, unforgettable—left a lasting impression on me. Whether he was roasting a whole pig or whipping up a simple breakfast sandwich, my dad was one of the best cooks I’ve ever known.
The Spark
After years of honing my craft and sharing my dishes with friends and family, it lit a fire inside me do do more -- take those same rich, smoky and vibrant flavors I grew up with and share them with the world.
